Ketryna Fares explores place attachment through light, examining its connection to movement, scale, psychology, and social behavior. Before founding Ketryna Studio, she spent a decade practicing lighting design in New York, collaborating with internationally acclaimed firms on hospitality, residential, corporate, cultural, transportation, and retail projects.
Her diverse experience allows her to craft tailored lighting solutions for each space and client. She excels in cross-disciplinary collaborations.
Ketryna holds Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Interior Architecture and a Master's in Architectural Lighting Design from Parsons The New School of Design in New York. She has also actively contributed to the lighting design community through her volunteer work with the IALD, IES, and EIL.
